Bashing Trump's Justifiable Outrage Over Disgraceful Press Coverage

Bashing Trump’s Justifiable Outrage Over Disgraceful Press Coverage

by Stephen Lendman

With few exceptions, media scoundrels relentlessly bashed him throughout the political season.

Vilification continues daily post-election, inventing reasons to denigrate him, an unprecedented example of political presstitution at its worst.

An open letter to him from the US press corp, written by Columbia Journalism Review editor-in-chief and publisher Kyle Pope, warrants a reader response. Trump and his team can speak for themselves.

Pope: “You’ve banned news organizations from covering you.”

Fact: False! He leveled sharp criticism as justified, including blasting CNN as fake news. He should have applied that label to the entire scoundrel media establishment, suppressing hard truths, substituting managed news misinformation and Big Lies - about him and on virtually all other important issues.

Any news organization and their members are free to cover him. He’s free to ignore any ones he wishes.

Pope: “(Y)our press secretary is considering pulling news media offices out of the White House…”

Fact: False! Incoming press secretary Sean Spicer said space is being sought to accommodate a larger number of journalists - not change the workspace for White House reporters.

At the same time, Trump is entitled to challenge members of the press spreading malicious lies about him. No one should put up with abusive practices.

Pope: “You’ve taken to Twitter to taunt and threaten individual reporters and encouraged your supporters to do the same.”

Fact: Western media scoundrels are a national disgrace. Trump should respond when they blast him irresponsibly.

Twitter is his favorite way of communicating. He’s able to reach millions, free from misquotes and distortions. Earlier I called him America’s tweeter-in-chief, encouraging him to keep tweeting.

Pope: “You’ve avoided the press when you could and flouted the norms of pool reporting and regular press conferences.”

Fact: Advice referees give prize fighters to protect themselves at all times especially applies to presidents and other heads of state. If he wishes, Trump is entitled to avoid press corp members denigrating him maliciously.

He’s yet to assume office, so it’s unknown how often he’ll hold press conferences. Franklin Roosevelt, serving nearly four terms, held far more than any other president. They were more informal affairs in pre-television days than how they’re held today.

Pope: “You’ve ridiculed a reporter who wrote something you didn’t like because he has a disability.”

Fact: Trump debunked the accusation as a malicious lie.

Pope: Press “access is preferable, but not critical.” Lacking it is “a challenge we relish.”

Fact: Trump has no problem with responsible reporting. Denigrating him without just cause is another matter entirely.

Pope: “Ground rules are the prerogative of the press.”

Fact: That type attitude would antagonize anyone.

Pope: “We decide how much airtime to give your spokespeople and surrogates.”

Fact: How much time isn’t the issue. Responsible truth-telling matters most - what’s sorely lacking in mainstream Western reporting, turning journalism into presstitution.

Pope: “Facts are what we do…”

Fact: Media scoundrels suppress them, substituting fake news.

Pope: “(W)hile you may seek to control what comes out of the West Wing, we’ll have the upper hand in covering how your policies are carried out.”

Fact: If reporting on Trump follows the pattern seen throughout the political season and post-election so far, expect endless rubbish substituting for responsible journalism.

Pope: We’ll set higher standards for ourselves than ever before.”

Fact: Presstitutes make street whores look good by example. Case closed!

US Demagogues Hype Nonexistent Russian Threat

US Demagogues Hype Nonexistent Russian Threat

by Stephen Lendman

Russia bashing is the national pastime, an imperial rage not about to end with Obama’s departure - even if Trump intends working cooperatively with Putin. Bipartisan congressional neocons will challenge any rapprochement steps he takes.

Three outgoing administration officials likely had their last say in an official capacity, taking full advantage to bash Russia irresponsibly.

In Davos, Switzerland at the billionaire’s ball (aka World Economic Forum), Joe Biden railed against Russia, sidestepping hard truths, blustering Big Lies, disgracefully calling Russia the biggest threat to the international order.

Under President Putin, Russia is working with every tool available to them to whittle away at the edges of the European project, test the fault lines of western nations and return to a politics defined by spheres of influence,” Biden roared.

“With many countries in Europe slated to hold elections this year, we should expect further attempts by Russia to meddle in the democratic process. It will occur again, I promise you. And again the purpose is clear: to collapse the liberal international order.”

His remarks were aimed at ordinary Americans and Europeans, Davos participants too savvy to be fooled by misinformation, while supporting its proliferation.

Outgoing war secretary Ashton Carter claimed Russia failed to cooperate with Washington in combating terrorism in Syria. His comments were Ash backwards, like everything he says about Russia.

Its government “defines its interests not only as different from the United States…but as deliberately in opposition to (US interests so) it’s very difficult to” cooperate.

Truth is polar opposite. Washington goes out of its way to undermine normal bilateral relations, wanting Moscow as an adversary, not ally.

Will Trump go another way? Will he work cooperatively with Putin? Will he be a responsible leader or another rogue one? These and other vital questions remain unanswered until he’s in office.

On Tuesday, Obama’s UN envoy Samantha Power addressed the neocon Atlantic Council. She lied calling Russia a “major threat” to America and world order - based on Washington rules she failed to explain.

She ranted about nonexistent Russian “aggressive and destabilizing actions…(T)he United States and our closest partners must come together to prevent Russia from (challenging) our values, our security, our prosperity, and our very way of life…”

“(W)e have seen Russia take one aggressive and destabilizing action after another.” Her litany of Big Lies wore thin long ago. Her Russia bashing Security Council Russia tirades won’t be missed.

As of Friday, it’s Trump’s turn for good or ill. Key is curbing America’s permanent war policy, cooperating with other nations instead of antagonizing them, combating terrorism instead of supporting it, and seeking peace and stability in a war-torn world.

Is he up to the challenge? We’ll soon find out.

Trump Opponents Ignore US Fascism Wrapped in the American Flag

Trump Opponents Ignore US Fascism Wrapped in the American Flag

by Stephen Lendman

Large-scale protests are planned for inauguration day, January 20. Anti-Trumpism ignores what’s most important - a debauched system revolutionary change alone can fix, each wing of America’s one party state as corrupted as the other.

Ordinary people have no say whatever. Voting is a waste of time. headlined “IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA.”

It’s deep-rooted, not something arriving under Trump. Fascist deep state dark forces run things. Presidents, key congressional members and the courts serve their interests.

Anti-Trumpists claiming he’s the problem ignore reality. RefuseFascism initiators disgracefully called his election “illegitimate” even though he won convincingly.

Full-page NYT and WaPo ads headlined STOP THE TRUMP-PENCE REGIME BEFORE IT STARTS…Take to the streets every night and every day growing in numbers. BRING DC TO A HALT!”

“…There are times in history when the impossible is possible because of the extremeness of the situation - this is one of those times.”

Pro-Hillary dark forces are behind this scheme to undermine Trump before and after his inauguration, likely wanting him impeached or violently removed from office - a coup d’etat scheme no thinking person should support.

Deep-seated fascism flourished under the Clinton co-presidency, Bush/Cheney and Obama. Why weren’t their regimes strongly denounced and opposed?

Why were they allowed to get away with mass murder unaccountably, exclusively serving monied interests, enforced by police state laws?

Why is Trump assailed so viciously before taking office? He may turn out as bad or worse than his predecessors, but he hasn’t taken office yet so it’s too soon to know.

He deserves a chance to govern before passing judgment. At the same time, it takes a giant leap of faith to think he’ll be a popular leader, a peacemaker, a president serving all Americans equitably and justly.

Fascism infested America long ago. In the 1930s, famed investigative journalist George Seldes saw it coming. He called WW I militarists and weapons makers “merchants of death,” promoting “imperialism (and) colonization by means of war…The more wars,” the more riches.

An earlier article addressed political scientist Laurence W. Britt discussing “Fascism Anyone?” He described its 14 common elements prevalent in America earlier - raging under the Clintons, Bush/Cheney and Obama, responsible for escalating police state viciousness.

(1) “Powerful and continuing expressions of nationalism,” including displaying flags, lapel pins, and other patriotic nationalist expressions, rallying people for a common cause.

(2) “Disdain for the importance of human rights” and civil liberties, believing they hinder ruling elitist power.

(3) “Identification of enemies/scapegoats as a unifying cause,” shifting blame for failures, “channel(ling) frustration in controlled directions,” and vilifying targeted groups for political advantage.

(4) “The supremacy of the military/avid militarism,” allocating a disproportionate share of national wealth and resources for it.

(5) “Rampant sexism,” viewing women as second-class citizens.

(6) “A controlled mass media,” in public or private hands, promoting power elite policies.

(7) “Obsession with national security,” using it as an instrument of belligerence and oppression.

(8) “Religion and ruling elite tied together,” portraying themselves as military defenders of the nation’s dominant religion at the expense of one or more others, deemed inferior or threatening.

(9) “Power of corporations defended,” for economic dominance, military production, and social control.

(10) “Power of labor suppressed or eliminated,” leaving political and corporate dominance unchallenged.

(11) “Disdain and suppression of intellectuals and the arts,” because they represent intellectual and academic freedom, subversive to national security and political control.

(12) “Obsession with crime and punishment,” featuring draconian criminal justice measures and practices.

(13) “Rampant cronyism and corruption,” power elites enriching themselves at the expense of others less fortunate.

14) “Fraudulent elections,” manipulated for desired results by disenfranchising opposition voters or simply rigging the process.

These elements largely describe today’s America - before Trump succeeds Obama.

Where’s the outrage? Why weren’t Americans raging in the streets against earlier administrations, causing so much harm to so many for so long?

Why is Obama’s approval rating around his highpoint despite ruthlessly betraying the public trust? Why have he, Bush/Cheney and the Clintons remained unaccountable for major crimes of war and against humanity?

Why is anger addressed at Trump alone? America’s debauched system is to blame, revolutionary change the only way to fix things. Nothing else can work.

Chelsea Manning to Be Freed

Chelsea Manning to Be Freed

by Stephen Lendman

Manning was wrongfully arrested, imprisoned, horrifically treated, and sentenced to 35 years of brutalizing confinement for courageously exposing US war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Whistleblowers revealing government wrongdoing deserve high praise, not police state prosecution. Manning revealed important information all Americans have a right to know, including:

  • the Collateral Murder video, exposing the killing of unarmed Iraqi civilians by a US Apache helicopter crew;

  • the Afghan War Diary, revealing uninvestigated civilian casualties and private military contractor abuses;

  • the Iraq War Logs, revealing civilian casualties and uninvestigated reports of torture; along with

  • US diplomatic cables, explaining corporate interests and espionage in international diplomacy.

Manning received numerous honors and awards, including three Nobel Peace Prize nominations. Under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), military personnel are entitled to fair, speedy proceedings if charged with an offense.

In April 2010, Manning was arrested, viciously treated, held in brutalizing pre-trial confinement for over three years before trial proceedings began - a flagrant 8th Amendment violation, prohibiting cruel and unusual punishment for any reason.

On January 17, Obama commuted Manning’s sentence, effective May 17. He waited nearly seven years to do the right thing instead of intervening right away responsibly.

He’s done nothing to free countless other wrongfully held US political prisoners. They continue languishing under gulag conditions at home and abroad.

He didn’t drop wrongful charges against whistleblowers Edward Snowden and Julian Assange, no clemency for wrongfully convicted Leonard Peltier, Mumia abu-Jamal, and dozens of other US political prisoners I’ve written about in detail.

Freeing Manning doesn’t change mass incarceration in America, or shut down its global network of torture prisons - domestically alone holding far greater numbers than any other country, including China with over four times the US population.

America’s gulag prison system is the shame of the nation and high crime against humanity. Obama perpetuated an obscenity no just society would tolerate.

Will Assange Agree to Extradition Following Manning's Commutation?

Will Assange Agree to Extradition Following Manning’s Commutation?

by Stephen Lendman

On January 12, WikiLeaks tweeted “(i)f Obama grants Manning clemency Assange will agree to US extradition despite clear unconstitutionality of DoJ case.”

He’s a political refugee, given asylum in Ecuador’s London embassy since 2012, unable to leave because of fabricated rape charges.

A sealed indictment wrongfully charges him with spying under the long ago outdated 1917 Espionage Act, a WW I relic. He’s a conduit, not a spy, involved with others, publishing leaked material they’re given on vital issues.

With Manning’s sentence commuted, will he agree to extradition as promised, knowing no chance of justice awaits him if handed to US authorities, sure to treat him as viciously as Manning.

Following her commutation, WikiLeaks tweeted “Assange: ‘Thank you to everyone who campaigned for Chelsea Manning's clemency. Your courage & determination made the impossible possible.”

In a separate statement, Assange said “Ms. Manning is a hero, whose bravery should be applauded. Journalists, publishers, and their sources serve the public interest and promote democracy by distributing authentic information on key matters such as human rights abuses and illegal acts by government officials. They should not be prosecuted.”

Assange’s lawyer Melinda Taylor indicated he stands by his pledge to risk extradition to America. Did Obama commute Manning’s sentence so Washington could arrest and prosecute him?

Will Trump pursue him as aggressively as Obama? Will Assange reconsider his pledge to remain safe, not sorry.

Confinement in Ecuador’s London embassy is far better than in a US maximum security prison, risking torture and other abusive treatment.

He likely hoped promising to accept extradition would get Manning freed. He’ll remain in prison until May 17 - lots of time for Assange to decide his next move.

He expressed confidence of a fair trial under Trump. It may be wishful thinking - a big gamble he risks losing.

NYT Bashes Trump's NATO and EU Critique

NYT Bashes Trump’s NATO and EU Critique

by Stephen Lendman

NATO is a US controlled killing machine, used for offense, not defense. Trump called it obsolete, criticized most of its members for not paying their fair share.

He wants the alliance used for combating terrorism, not overthrowing targeted countries. He called Brexit “a great thing,” believes other EU countries will follow Britain, while calling the European Union “a vehicle for Germany.”

Agree or disagree with him, including communicating with millions of followers via Twitter and Facebook, his comments are refreshingly different from typical presidential boilerplate - notably Obama, America’s liar-in-chief, his tenure thankfully near over.

The Times militantly opposed Trump throughout his campaign, after his election, bashing him daily, likely continuing its assault once in office.

It disgracefully called his NATO and EU comments “outrageous.” Both alliances are US created instruments for control, serving Washington’s imperial interests.

Humanity would be far better off with them gone, free from their scourge.

The Times: Trump took “potshots at Germany’s chancellor, Angela Merkel…see(ing) no difference between (her) and Vladimir Putin, saying (he’ll) trust them equally, even though it was the Russian president who meddled with the American election, bombed civilians in Syria, crushed dissent in his own country and invaded Ukraine.”

Fact: The Times is a lying machine. Putin champions peace and stability. Merkel is allied with Washington’s imperial agenda, waging wars on humanity.

Fact: Alleged Russia US election hacking is a CIA, FBI, NSA, DHS Big Lie - hyped by Obama, neocons infesting his administration and bipartisan rogue congressional members.

Fact: America massacred civilians in Syria, not Russia or Damascus.

Fact: Russian society is free and open, its elections democratic, Putin remaining overwhelmingly popular - polar opposite America’s deplorable system.

Fact: The Clintons, Bush/Cheney and Obama waged war on fundamental freedoms at home and abroad.

Fact: Russia didn’t invade Ukraine. It seeks normal relations with all countries, threatening none.

The Times shamelessly praised US-led NATO aggression, citing its nonexistent “contributions to the fight against” terrorism - what Washington created and supports, not what it’s against.

The Times: “…NATO’s historic role as a defender of democracy…continue(s) today.”

Fact: NATO wages war to prevent democracy, not defend it.

The Times: “Mr. Trump seems eager to help unravel the rules-based international order.”

Fact: America demands global subservience to Washington rules, raping and destroying countries asserting their sovereign independent rights.

The Times: “The big winner in all this is Mr. Putin…working…to delegitimize American democracy…destabilize Europe, and weaken if not destroy NATO…”

Fact: Truth is polar opposite this rubbish. The Times is a press agent for US wealth, power and privilege, featuring presstitution, not journalism the way it’s supposed to be.

Putin Blasts Anti-Trump Prostitutes

Putin Blasts Anti-Trump Prostitutes

by Stephen Lendman

Putin diverged from his usual measured diplomatic rhetoric to blast what he called anti-Trump prostitution.

Washington’s criminal class and supportive media scoundrels are worse than street whores, without moral scruples, Putin stressed.

He spoke candidly and straightforwardly after remaining largely silent during months of groundless accusations of Russian US election hacking - absurd and hugely offensive charges only brainwashed or dim-witted people believe.

“I don’t know Mr. Trump personally. I have never met him and don’t know what he will do on the international arena. So I have no grounds to attack him or criticize him for anything, or protect him or whatever,” Putin stressed.

Despite his “solid win,” anti-Trump forces want him “undermine(d)” and delegitimized for their own dark purposes.

“I have an impression they practiced in Kiev and are ready to organize a (US-style) Maidan in Washington” - a coup to prevent “Trump (from) tak(ing) office.”

Political conditions in America and Europe “significantly” worsened in recent years, extremists replacing cool heads.

Putin called alleged Russian compromising material on Trump utterly “fake.” When he “visited Moscow several years ago, he wasn’t a political figure.”

We didn’’t even know about his political ambitions. He was just a businessman, one of America's richest people. So does someone think that our intelligence services go after each American billionaire? Of course not, it’s complete rubbish.”

Putin scoffed at the notion of a man involved in organizing beauty pageants in America with “some of the most beautiful women of the world” would come thousands of miles to Moscow for sex with call girls.

Make sense? Of course not, especially given months of relentless Trump bashing. He called the allegation a “complete fraud.” So did Putin and every other thinking person.

Neocon John McCain's Restoring American Power Madness

Neocon John McCain’s Restoring American Power Madness

by Stephen Lendman

McCain is a member of Washington’s lunatic fringe, wanting unchallenged US dominance achieved by raping and destroying all sovereign independent states - forcefully ousting their governments, replacing them with puppet regimes serving US interests.

A Restoring American Power report written in his name calls for greater military spending than already, so US forces can wage new wars beyond ones now raging.

“We must…invest in new capabilities,” he blustered. For starters, he proposes spending $54 billion more in next year’s defense budget above what Obama called for.

He wants caps removed for maximum spending. “We have been deceiving ourselves and the American people for too long,” he claimed.

We have allowed arbitrary caps on our national defense spending to remain in place for five years, despite clear evidence that the world is growing more dangerous, the state of military readiness and modernization is growing more perilous, and none of this is having any impact on the national debt, which keeps growing.”

Fact: America’s only enemies and threats are ones it creates. No real ones exist. Today is the most dangerous time in world history because of lunatics like McCain infesting Washington - promoting endless wars on humanity, dismissive of their devastating consequences, along with letting vital homeland needs go begging.

McCain and likeminded neocons want more troops, more planes, more ships, more nukes, more power to destroy planet earth multiple times over.

Trump’s call for lifting spending caps will add hundreds of billions of dollars to the federal deficit - an endless cycle of waste for war instead of redirecting most defense spending to vital homeland needs he calls essential to address.

McCain: “Reversing this budget-driven damage to our military must be a top priority for national leaders.”

Trump pledged to “fully eliminate the defense sequester, submit(ting) a new budget to rebuild our military. This cannot happen soon enough. The damage that has been done to our military over the past eight years will not be reversed in one year.”

The damage done to humanity at home and abroad will never be reversed. Trump and McCain differ markedly in one respect.

The incoming president wants more military spending for readiness. McCain and other neocons want it for greater warfare than already.

A Deep State Orchestrated Storm Awaits Trump in Office

A Deep State Orchestrated Storm Awaits Trump in Office

by Stephen Lendman

After the most unprecedented denigration of a presidential candidate in US history, the worst may be yet to come, beginning Friday with Trump’s inauguration as America’s 45th president.

Pro-Hillary dark forces call him illegitimate. Media scoundrels beat on him relentlessly. Whatever he does or says or doesn’t do or doesn’t say is criticized.

Nothing in memory resembles what’s gone on since mid-2015. The problem isn’t Trump. It’s America’s debauched system - fantasy democracy, not the real thing.

Leaders like Obama govern by the script handed them, doing the bidding of powerful dark forces running the country. Trump’s anti-establishment sounding rhetoric scares them, especially talk of getting along with Vladimir Putin - anathema in neocon infested Washington.

Days before his inauguration, a disgraceful Huffington Post article contemptuously headlined “Hillary Clinton is the Legitimate President,” saying:

“The evidence is clear. Hillary Clinton is the rightful president-elect, and courts must use the broad discretionary powers with which they are vested to enjoin an illegitimate president from taking office.”

Shocking stuff, here in America, not in some faraway tinpot dictatorship. The evidence is very clear. Trump won convincingly. Hillary lost whining, whimpering, simpering and groaning, believing it was her turn as a woman to claim the nation’s highest office.

Her defeat let humanity dodge a possible nuclear bullet. Huffpo saying US courts should intervene on her behalf is seditious or treasonous - despicably promoting coup d’etat action to prevent an elected US president from taking office.

Huffpo: “Every major intelligence agency in the country has reached the same conclusion: Russian hackers engaged in cyber attacks with the express purpose of helping Donald Trump win the election.”

“They operated at the directive of Russian President Vladimir Putin, apparently motivated by his hatred for Clinton.”

Fact: This is what passes for mainstream news and information - utter rubbish, knowing, or should know, not a shred of evidence suggests Russian US election hacking.

The whole dirty story was fabricated - a disgraceful scheme to delegitimize Trump and prevent normalizing ties with Russia.

Promoting the notion of Hillary as America’s legitimate president is scandalous, stuff commonplace in banana republics or despotic monarchies.

It’ll likely continue after Trump enters office - instead of focusing solely on how he governs, judging him by what he does or doesn’t do for good or ill.

A rough ride awaits him. Fidel Castro’s advice to Hugo Chavez before his death applies to Trump, saying “(t)ake care what you eat, what they give you to eat. They inject you with I don’t know what.”

Watch your back is also sound advice, including carefully vetting security personnel assigned for protection.

Threatening dark forces make survival Trump’s top priority.

Outgoing CIA Director Hypes Nonexistent Russian Threat

Outgoing CIA Director Hypes Nonexistent Russian Threat

by Stephen Lendman

America needs enemies to advance its imperial agenda. None exist so they’re invented - a pretext for current wars, future ones, color revolutions, old-fashioned coups and assassinations.

It’s been the American way from the republic’s inception, a culture of violence persisting at home and abroad since the 18th century, far more dangerous with today’s super-weapons able to kill us all.

Neocon lunatics infest Washington, Trump’s tenure perhaps destined to be the most turbulent in US history since the Civil War, how he’ll fare yet to be determined.

Dark forces far more powerful than the office of the presidency confront him. If he diverges from longstanding practice, especially geopolitically, he may not last a full term, maybe not a full year.

Working with Russia cooperatively, instead of maintaining adversarial relations, could seal his fate.

Interviewed on Fox News Sunday, January 15, host Chris Wallace asked outgoing CIA director John Brennan if disparaging comments by two former agency heads wasn’t just cause for Trump to believe Langley is out to get him.

Former acting CIA director Mike Morell said “(i)n the intelligence business, we would say Mr. Putin had recruited Mr. Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation.”

Former agency head Michael Hayden called Trump a “useful fool…manipulated by Moscow, secretly held in contempt, but his blind support is happily accepted and exploited.”

Brennan neither “defend(ed) or explain(ed) what they said.” Claiming the intelligence community will support Trump depends entirely on how his agenda unfolds, especially his policy toward Russia.

Hyping its nonexistent threat, Brennan claimed Trump doesn’t have a full appreciation of (its) capabilities, (its) intentions, and actions (it’s) undertaking in many parts of the world.”

Fact: Putin champions world peace and stability, abhors war and violence, wants cooperative relations with all nations, deplores America’s imperial madness.

Brennan: Russia must “change (its) behavior, change (its) actions.”

Translation: Russia must play by Washington rules, be subservient to its wishes or else.

Brennan opposes Trump and Putin working together cooperatively. He’s against lifting sanctions, no matter their illegality and counterproductiveness.

He lied about what’s happening in Ukraine, in Syria, in “the cyber realm.” Trump needs to step back from “absolving Russia of various actions” it never undertook, he said.

No “Russian aggression” exists in Ukraine, Syria or anywhere else. US wars of aggression rage in multiple theaters, responsible for millions of casualties Brennan ignored.

He recited a laundry list of nonexistent threats, ones Washington uses as pretexts for raping and destroying one country after another.

US national security hasn’t been threatened since WW II. Brennan lied claiming otherwise. Asked to name his greatest accomplishments and regrets, he shamelessly expressed pride in being part of an administration involved in “advanc(ing) the interests of peace and stability,” along with related issues.

Obama’s disgraceful record speaks for itself - the most ruthless regime in US history, the most lawless, the most contemptuous of humanity at home and abroad.

As for regrets, Brennan named Syria, shamelessly claiming his “heart…bleeds over what happened” there - ignoring US naked aggression against a sovereign independent country threatening no one, the CIA under his direction playing a major role.

Brennan is an unindicted war criminal, unaccountable for Nuremberg-level crimes of war and against humanity.
